Renovations on the Macy’s building downtown are in full swing. Construction began on December 15 2020, and is on track to be complete by March 1, 2021. While a project of this scale would typically take an upwards of six months, the project timeline has been shortened to ten weeks. When complete, the 150,000 square foot space, equipped with 60 classrooms, will serve as the new home of BHS for the foreseeable future–possibly the full duration of the 3.5 year lease.
On Thursday, January 28, the Register took a tour of the construction site and documented the current state of BHS Downtown.
